Tintash Inc., is an emerging publisher of casual and social mobile games. Spun out of Stanford University and based in Foster City, we also offer game development services through our partnership with Tintash Pvt. Ltd., an offshore game development studio.

Our present focus is on iPhone and Facebook games, However, we are now exploring Android and downloadable games.

Why do we call ourselves Tintash? Well it allows us to pay homage to the fearless yet endearing character of Tintin. And it sounds quirky, casual and fun: exactly the traits embedded within our culture as we aim to provide the world with amusing, beneficial and aesthetically pleasing products.

  
Management Team
Murad Akhter | Co-founder & CEO
Murad Akhter has over seven years of experience in product management and software development in Silicon Valley’s high-tech industry. Prior to Tintash, he worked at Apple Computer on flagship products such as the company’s first line of 64-bit systems as well as its transition from PowerPC chips to Intel’s multi-core processors. He later worked on jukebox and VOIP applications for the Ultra-Mobile PC platform at Microsoft before starting Tintash in 2007. Murad graduated from Stanford University with an MS and BS in Computer Science.

M. Abdoolcarim | Co-founder
Mohammed received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. Since then he started BookBox, a company that creates online books to help children learn new languages. He also started a career at Google where he was Product Marketing Manager for Google Desktop and AdSense and launched Google’s beta testing program. He now advises and works with mobile design teams that build products for the iPhone.

Mannan Amin | Co-founder & CMO
Mannan Amin has a Masters in Management science with a specialization in Innovations, Viral Marketing, and Entrepreneurship from Stanford. He feels very proud and fortunate to be amongst the very few who have been part of key courses at the newly funded school, school of cross disciplinary innovation, at Stanford. As part of these courses Mannan got a chance to do projects for the top management at Facebook, Firefox, GlobalGiving, JetBlue and Fidelity Investments. Earlier Mannan was at LUMS where he did his BSc CS and a year of LUMS MBA. Mannan is incredibly passionate about cultivating an environment for entrepreneurship in Pakistan. He remains ever the optimist.

Jazib Zahir | Chief Operations Officer
Jazib completed a BS in Electrical Engineering at Stanford and an MBA from LUMS. His work experience includes 3 years of project management, online marketing and strategic planning activities in a variety of companies in the IT and telecommunications sectors. He has been involved in the development of content for a citizen’s journalism startup Allvoices.com.
